OP
I will implement some notifications along with the quality control to comments. So the real users know, what is going on.
But the spam filter sadly is like it is at the moment. As always its good to CTRL + A and then CTRL + C all your comment, before posting it. If it looks like it went through, but then you reload and it didn't. Then the problem is in some link that you posted.
If the link automatically turns into a embed, then its 100% fine. But some of these hdtubehdforyouxxxx.com type of sites, that either spam our site or steal our (yours) content (answers) to their site, are disallowed by the system.
The comment quality control, will try to check if the format is OK and how good it might be. In the hopes to make Don's idea alive, so better comments would make better points. And very bad comments will notify the user, that are you missing something?
Also, officialy I will call this comment quality idea.. Purity Control (nerds from 90's will get it.)

@xxlauren
That might be caused by our spam filter - most probably because it detected a blocked URL. Try to post your answer without URL's or with an another URL, to see if that's the case.

Want to help us out?
Check out http://namethatporn.com/megawall
Flag them if:
1) ..you find any inappropriate posts
2) ..you find extremely amateur posts (like a girl, making a selfie in front of a mirror and she is clearly not a pornstar)
3) ..you find black thumbnails, that usually are layered over ads
Flagging them and writing why that post doesn't meet our standards, will help us out alot :)

Ok, chat seems to be finally fixed now. I dont think there will be any connection problems anymore.

@NinNin First off, we wholeheartedly agree with you! This is something that definitely needs improvement.
Problem for us is, that unfortunately the scenario you described happens 99% of the time when OP accepts the answer himself. (Yes it does happen!) In that case our options are limited, as the OP finds the question has been answered - and it is, his question after all. What you can do here is notify us via flagging and IF a better answer exist we will override OP and reward the best answer instead.
Also we always favor users who use correct syntax vs those who don't and adding tags to answers ourselves is something we unfortunately are forced to do a lot. We could just ignore answers without correct syntax and not accept them. But in some cases it seems unfair not to reward the user who has done all the research and is only missing name tags - in those cases we tag the answer ourselves if possible.
Solution we currently have in mind to deal with this in the immediate future is to improve our help section and add a semi-interactive tutorial to new and anonymous users, which they have to view before they can post their first answer. (Regular users can tick "Don't show me this again")
Further along the way once we get out of BETA - we have another idea which we wish to implement - and might solve this issue once and for all.
Collaborative answers - where points are shared based on different parameters, for example:
Name (+10 points), Movie (+10 points), Scene (+2 points), Reference link (+5 points), Media reference (+10 points)
Meaning anyone can improve any given answer on the site by adding more details to it and get points/credit for doing so.
Note: This is nothing more than a idea at this point and will probably take us a while before we get there

It frustrates me like nooobody's business when people post answers without using correct syntax and/or receive credit without answering the question. For the former, this is unhelpful if you are trying to build an index. For the latter, a frequent example is "Where can I find this video?" and the answer will be, say, "Janice Griffith," and that person may receive credit for this answer. Can you stop this practice by rewarding only those who follow the very simple syntax directions, answer the question posed, and provide confirm links? I will not confirm answers that do not use correct syntax and I suggest you other 5+ contributors do the same. Operator, I hope you will take this under consideration. Thank you.

Currently fixed again. Since its very BETA, then sadly this was expected. Will monitor it and try to solve the disconnect.
EDIT: Scratch that, chat needs a bit more work. The connection for some reason terminates itself.

Hello everyone!
We added a new browsing option:
http://namethatporn.com/show-scavengerhunt.html
Scavenger Hunt
Posts that contain comments which are partial, lack references or are generally deemed not acceptable as answers. You can use these comments as possible hints to collect more points for yourself.
Hope this makes things a little more interesting! Good luck!

Thanks for the suggestion. We'll consider it, but it's not in our priority list at this moment, as it's something that might leave the site vulnerable to spammers.
And answering your own question is absolutely fine - as someone else might be searching for it too.

How about a multiple upload option? Sometimes I upload several questions, and it would be much more easy with an option like that...
Also, what happens if I find an answer for a question I uploaded? Should I delete the post? or answer it?

You can't paste/drag an image from your computer. The image needs to be on the internet on a hosting service like imgfap, imgur, etc. or even a free porn site like xhamster, xvideos, etc. Those all allow you to upload your own image. Once you do that, copy and paste the url where your image is, into the box on NTP.
@Don
Ok. Thanks for the answer. I didn't know if weight was given to embedded videos but you answered it. Thx.

I have an image saved to my computer, as a .png file. When I drag the image into that box at the top, it takes me to a page where it's JUST the image, and the URL is where it's located in my computer. But when I copy and paste that url it says an error message reading 'Currently text based questions are not supported. Include some media.'. How do I send a picture saved from my computer because it's not on the internet?

Hello and welcome NameThatPorn.com! To post a question, you'll need to use our submitter - located at the top of the page, right from our logo.
Where it says:
"Paste the URL of a photo, video or just type in your question here"
NB! If the media you're trying to submit is an image, make sure the url ends with a commonly used extension such as jpeg, png, gif.
