Currently we have installed some hi-tech stuff to the server.
If anybody has time, it would be nice, to get some feedback on servers response times. Like in what time and timezone is the server working or not working for you.
I personally hope that the upgrade has fixed the server response issues, in our peak time, when there is so much traffic, that server is working overtime to resolve the connections.

It is selected as the correct answer in several of the other posts, I thought my post would lead you there. I've commented on them for now.

Well, its not selected as the correct answer for that post. Then its a comment. If you can prove that its incorrect. Then you can do this:
Use the a e-mail mark in front of the username. And claim his comment to be incorrect. Show some links to prove, your right.. Then add your correct answer with right format and proof in it. And hopefully the moderator or OP will pick up on it. However you can also flag it and write the reason, that its incorrect and I left a comment explaining why. In that case we can directly see the issue and even if the comment is accepted, but we find your proof is correct, we will correct it.
But then again flagging comments, that have wrong name in it. Basically, those are guesses. If they are not accepted as the correct answer, they are not hurting anyone and we do not remove them. Everybody has the right to comment posts here. It would become an issue, if that comment would get accepted.
But basically, if you are spotting something, that may not be correct and the poster was registered. Try mentioning them, so maybe they will simply edit it.
Also@GamerRoy about the modding. We have seen some very useful flags from you. So if you can somehow get your level up to confirmation privileges (im sorry, i forgot what level it is.. i think 5) and keep making useful flags, then you are already moding the site. Because confirmed answers and flags come to us very very fast and we usually deal with them very quickly. If the video is deleted, then we try to contact the poster, so they could maybe update the post. However, if the video is down, and you can find the working one.. post it, flag the wrong video with the reason: "this video is down, but i post a new one". We will remove that dead video and accept your comment as correct.
That being saying. Thanks to everybody who has flagged content, that has issues. Currently the flagging system is working very well, and you guys have helped us alot :)
In the upcoming weekend@Don will maybe go over the Help page. So if you guys have any suggestions, what was confusing, when you started on this site, then let us know before we start.. We will try to make the Help so helpful, that reading that one page, you would know everything about the system :)

What are the steps to correct an incorrect answer? For instance this gif has been listed as the correct actor but wrong scene in many posts here.

@GamerRoy currently our system does not support such moderation, that we could assign for anybody. We have great plans on that in the future however. Also, if you reach certain level, you can confirm posts. That really helps us out alot.
Im In Canada and the speed is good here, also are you looking for any mods

We learned that our server has responded a bit slow lately. Would be grateful if anyone from the US could tell me, how does the site perform speed-wise?
Our extremely helpful hosting partners, worked on the server recently so you should notice that the site is performing much faster.

On top of that, our community members can also help you, but you should describe your problem in more detail.
What is the URL you're trying to post? Is it an image or a video? If it's an image make sure it ends with commonly used extension (jpg, png etc). If it's a video make sure the video is included in our list of supported players.

@DefaultUser can you give me a link to some kanji containing posts/comments? I did some optimization on the database class. I thought, that my tests worked out good. But I only used Russian and Swedish lettering.
Also, do you personally understand han characters? If so, could you bookmark them somehow. Or flag them. So when we will convert to the new system, we can ask your help. As UTF-8 supports everything today, then the database systems and the transition to our site, is still trickery and relies on one line of code. That I really want to optimize out. Anyways currently I put everything back, so check the old posts and the new ones.

Looks like there is some problems with kanji. Only in old threads though.

@Uromyias_agilis well the load was even worse, I gave it all I got, to make it faster. And for us, it is a bit faster. But when the heavy rush-hour traffic hits, then site is slow.. Nothing to do about it. We are working on our new system ideas and planning on getting better servers and CDN. Then we will be globally fast. But all those upgrades have big hits on our traffic. So its a bit complicated :(

So the upgrading is over for today. Hope things are working faster now. Let me know, if there are any issues. We did alot of stuff to most of the major systems, that are running this site.. So we would expect some issues, but currently, it seems that all is good.
Also, the notification system had a small bug, so it is fixed now, and you should be able to enjoy it to the fullest :)

And basically, yes. You don't have to confirm a "bad" quality answer, if you are going to post a much better answer later. Because our moderators will mark your answer as the correct one anyways.
