The verified account minimum date is lowered to 1. Jan of 2017. Meaning all accounts created after 1. Jan of this year require email verifications and old ones we will start notifying. If you are one of the old rollers and your account is not verified, you should really do that.
If you are one of the oldschool users and for some reason have a outdated email and cannot verify, you can contact us via email. Accounts themselves are always safe, we just want to aim to start 2018 with all accounts verified.

@NinNin Yes to basically all you wrote. That is all part of the master plan. It is just held up by all sort of little bumps on the road, that we have faced this year and overcome.
Moderation will be slightly more down start of autumn, but hopefully it will gradually regain. We will figure out how to redesign the UI, to make accept ratio more natural and to clean up content.
The correct syntax program still needs users input, who understand NTP or who understand development or have a crazy good idea. Because we have not yet found a good enough compromise, between bulk accepting risks vs. quality.
This topic basically waits for any sort of ridiculous ideas, that users might have to make accepts more natural, but yet aiming for accuracy:

@Operator I'm over the moon that you're finally requiring all users to register. With the recent lack of moderation, this should put more pressure on the community to accept answers. (Of course, we still need regular moderation for the number of bounty questions many of us have answered.)
So there is no considerable drop in the quality of answers, I hope part of the master plan is to implement a system in which only answers given using tags are eligible to be accepted. Because when OPs accept unformatted answers, it goes against what this site is trying to do in building a database and is a slap in the face to those of us who bother to use correct syntax and who refer new users again and again to the Support and Help section.

The image issue for chrome users should be resolved and high quality images are popping up as we speak.
Also not loggedin users, cannot post questions or answer them from now on. You can still answer as anon, when loggedin. This is might seem radical change of the site, but ultimately it is part of the master plan to make the community better.

There might be slight quality drop for newer posts for Chrome users. If you find it giving you eye cancer, use any other browser then Chrome. We are working on fixing the issue and will parse images when the fix has been made, so not to worry, old images and new will all look extra crisp. Hopefully in next 24h.

Sorry for the 4 hour long glitch that you couldn't post. We are working on core software and one variable was forgotten. It is fixed now and life continues as is. Apologies again! :/
Nothing every seems to get marked "answered" anymore, even with a hundred confirms, and points almost never go through, what's up with that?

There is a known issue with posting images. The image manipulation engine is faulty and hopefully will be fixed soon. It affects about 30% of images.

Just screencap a pic of the video on that website, upload the pic to another site, copy the link to that pic, and then post the link to the pic on this site. Later, you can add the link to the website in the description.

but the help page isnt very helpful :( i see text based questions in the text section but there's no explanation as to how to ask a question without a link...
recently found a video on a site called avgle but i couldnt post the video link, it just says "we dont support normal links"
spent an hour or so trying to find a way to ask... if the only way to ask a question is by using a link that actually works like from pornhub but you're trying to ask a question thats not related to pornhub or a video on pornhub at all...
im sorry i just feel kinda lost here :/
