@L1bru5 Basically, flag it as dead video, but of course it currently is not automatic.

So alternatively you can check the source code in your browser and search for og:image meta variable and copy its content: meta property="og:image" content="IMAGE-URL-HERE"

Every post with thumbnail has this. Smarter guys might even know how to get the different sizes of the thumbnail by editing the URL, im not one of them tho (wink).

@L1bru5 you can find the video in the following list and click open image in new tab that's what I do also of it is dead mode then the thumbnail stays on

Is there a way to view the thumbnails of videos that were removed from their original source? Want to post an image of it so it can be verified properly

@BigSteve617 mate you should check the ultimate noob guide it explains pretty much everything still for an answer to be marked correct there are 2 ways
1. The Op (the guy who asks it) accepts the answer or
2. The answer is solved by automod for this to happen your answer needs confirms the no of confirms required varies depends on different factors like your answer has trusted links or etc at your level you need more than 2 confirms I guess and it takes some time for it to happen your best bet would be to post your answers on the confirm thread to get more confirms (Remember your answer must be in the correct format with tags and have good confirm links to support your answer to get confirms from others)

Shouldn't an answer being marked as correct be confirmed? How does an answer get confirmed?

@BigSteve617 i think you have it mixed up. Confirms are given by other users -> then the answer may get marked as correct.

If answers are marked as correct, they cannot be confirmed anymore. There is no need to either.

I think you should be at the level already. Check Yonis thread, maybe it has it there — i dont remember to be honest, maybe it was 5 or 7.

@Operator What level do you have to be to confirm people answers? Also a bunch of my answers are marked correct but not confirmed as an answer. What do I do?

@Operator what about setting a “timer” for comments on the confirm thread to get automatically deleted? Old comments with solved questions are useless and there are thousands of them, and since most users don’t do it themselves... sometimes I forget about it myself!

Aight. Will handle it. But considering its a fresh user, then I think its a honest mistake.

@Reaper_3x The rules need updating, I agree with you. We are in between a big policy change. As you can see, flagging/reporting is more efficient. Next hopefully we will make the help material a little big more straight forward. The policies, rules and guidelines will be more clear then.

In past instances when it is found that a person is cheating with two accounts, the more recent and lower level account is banned while the one benefitting the most is suspended and not for long enough. This does not seem to discourage the creation of second accounts.

For a person to "fairly" operate two accounts, it should not be obvious or even detectable that the same person is behind them.
