@Anxiousexy Yes. If its a bad answer, then dont confirm it. Flagging / reporting is for when something is wrong, like inappropriate content, bugs, privacy issues, broken stuff, flaming by users or spam and so on. Stuff that is not allowed.
Bad or wrong answers are normal, just dont confirm them. We have something planned for them in the future.

@Operator ok so basically “bullshit” flagging is pointless and it’s better to avoid flagging as moderator needed. But what if a newbie answers with the wrong video/name or else, how should I flag that besides telling him directly?
And what about a single flag, can it get reviewed as well or does it need others as well? And why rewarding with 10 points for correct reviews and penalizing with 15 if it’s not correct?

@Anxiousexy Good question. All situations, that can happen in NTP have already an appropriate flagging category.

Sadly however, most flags (from old flag system) are absolutely useless like: "he stole my points", "you owe me points", "my answer is confirmed but i got no points" and most famous of them all "BULLSHIT".
As we all know, OP's can select answers, confirms dont mean automatically accepts and some answers sometimes are better. This is no flagging matter. But if you must, then use the Bullshit flag category, it does nothing..shh dont tell anyone.

"Needs moderators assistance" flag type is there for unique situations. But 99.99% of these flags are not unique.

For example, there was content with animals in it, for that there is Removal -> Inappropriate flag type. Some users of course still had to do "Needs moderators assistance" and wrote out the reason. This means, that the flag has now 1 categorised flag vote and 2 needs moderator.
AI system can not read understand the "Needs moderators assistance" flags and there for the post will wait until some other user will flag it as Removal -> Inappropriate.

You see, the new flagging / review system stacks up its votes. So if 2-3 users mark something as Inappropriate, then the initial flag item gets 3 positive votes. This puts it in front of others and the AI system, using algorithms can act on the situation ASAP.

The idea with the new review system is to automise the actions, reduce manual moderation resources and clean up the community.

There is also gonna be negative actions on unhelpful flags. It is like with confirms. Unhelpful confirm gets points reductions and also affects your confirm ratio.

A reminder to all:

Really really think before you flag something as "moderator needed". All flagging reasons are categorised. 99% of "needs moderator" cases, could have categorised.

If something is inappropriate. Then flag it as in Removal -> inappropriate. This way, if someone else flags it as well or votes yes on that review, then then the action will take effect faster.

If you write a custom flag message as "needs a moderator", then it will just delay everything, as we need to manually get to it.

Currently, there are alot of custom "needs a moderator" flags, that could have solved with categorised prefix.

Why does the trending videos on the home page show not enough data?

Is this site being DDoS'd or something? I'm lucky if I can get ANY page to load.

The cause is people accepting answers, when site is closed I guess. Now we need to sync them.

@Operator just got a bunch of notifications that questions had been solved, but when I viewed the page it shows that it's still open. Unsure what's causing this.

@Anxiousexy It could be, that some actions got trough during the "lockdown". Ive corrected it and checking to sync if there is any more.

If you are seeing the readonly label from some network still, then restarting your router could help or just wait it out.

New server should be faster, if you can feel it, then you can also feedback us about that. If its slower, then please don't tell anything, it will ruin my mood. Thank you.

Someone had to manually delete the answer first. We cannot stop users from deleting their content. It is what it is. There are ridiculous restrictions on this site anyways, because rouge users, spammers and cheaters.
