@nudillos34 The source is not converted video, it is GIF. I have no further reports on this matter, all seem to work. Please give me an example link of a post, where video is not working for you.

The full post view class container will rewritten any day. These concerns will be taken under review then. I don't remember how it is right now, but users should only be allowed to confirm once per post and actually probably not confirm at all inside threads. Also we will start limiting confirming based on levels as to all sort of actions:

For example: level 1 = 1 confirm, while level 100 = 1000 to unlimited confirms.
This means, that you will be level 5 with 30 confirms, for example. You confirm 30 answers, you need to wait until those posts get reviewed/OP selected/moderated.

So the idea is that it limits the amount of harm lower levels can do, until they figure out how things work.

Hmmm, well I'm Level 86, and I can only confirm 1 comment per thread. (I just confirmed yours to test this). Could it be that reaching Level 100 gives you the ability to confirm more? If so, there's only a couple of people who's that level or higher that are routinely on the leaderboards.

@WordsBestPorn I'd prefer not pointing fingers because there are a few users who do this fairly regularly, just keep an eye out. I will tell you that one of the users is usually on the leader board.

Since when can we do that? O_o Got any posts to show of a user confirming multiple answers? Because I've been here over a year, and have never seen that before (when it wasn't a glitch).

Can you stop the practice of allowing users to confirm more than one answer per post? Given more than one choice, a user should only confirm the first or best answer. Many of those who do this seem to be after points when confirming should really be about throwing one's weight behind one answer.

Well in my case, the converted videos doesn't load on the wall and in the post. I have to go to the source to see the coverted videos.
I don't think that the problem it's in my device, I have a Moto g with android 7.1. And also I use the chrome app to navigate.

You need to be much more specific. So, do you mean the preview on "the wall"? Or when you go to a post to view "the big version".

Either way, there are actually no more GIF's, they are short videos converted from GIF's. We tested them on mobile, and both webm for webkit/chrome/android etc and mp4 for ios work fine. So where is the problem, on what page and from what phone, in what browser?

When you see the spinning thing, its not-yet-converted GIF and when you see a cloud, its video. Reason behind converting is simple, the videos are 5x smaller and load 5x faster. They also allow streaming, so for mobile users this should be much faster experience.

Guys, the gifs in the mobile devices are not working :/

Are gifs on mobile broken? A week ago (give or take) I could watch them without problems. I pressed on a gif, then touched any part of the screen to exit the option that pop out (open in new tab, etc) and the gifs started to load (two arrows spinning on top right).
Now if I do that, it appear a cloud with and arrow (like downloading) and do nothing.

Profiles will be fully redesigned, with usability in mind. A green check mark is doable before rebuild, but after the initial launch of review pool.

When you go to someone's profile and click the questions tab, a list of all their posted questions come up, but is there anyway to add a green check mark next to the questions that have been answered already? I only ask because when I answer a question for an OP, and he accepts it as correct without delay, then I want to reward him by going to his questions tab and answering more of his questions. But this is difficult to do since there's no way to tell answered questions from open ones by looking at that tab.

There are often multiple aliases, but also potentially multiple people, with multiple aliases, and descriptions that are necessary to says which is which.

I don't disagree with you, but it can get complicated very quickly. With this kind of change, the data structure for the system becomes much more complicated with multiple child tables, though that could make indexing a lot faster.

@dub OP cannot undo confirms. Only the user who confirms, can undo its own confirm vote.

There are many systems planned. Its fairly simple, whatever you come up, we have thought of it most likely. There are just priorities. I thought the key priority is the points now, not answer quality. So we are working on review pool. After that post display system, that will reduce load on server and make replying easier and more logical. After that render speed and mobile support.

By multiple answers I understand you refer to pornstars with multiple alias, don't you? That's easy to solve with an adjacent "+ Name" link/button, which would open subsequent textboxes. The same could be even done with Movie titles (on the cases where it's relevant), and any needed explanation can be given in the "Commentary and links" general purpose textbox. And, as it happens, any further required info can be appended by editing the comment.

The thing is to let users a clear, natural way to designate the key part of the answer, so it can be indexed without much intervention. Guiding us by universal interface patterns which do match our expectations will create much less friction (and certainly will be much more effective) than relying on ad hoc instructions, asking us to open a FAQ or help page, and interrupting us with notifications if we don't fill some boxes.

I have thought of this many times as well. Instead of relying on formatting, give discrete entry boxes for each piece of data you are looking for.

The problem is, each piece of data can be complicated with multiple answers, or needed explanation.

What might be nice is if you post an answer, you would be notified immediately that you are missing pieces, and those notifications could have direct links to "How to Format" for each one. Then you can either choose to fix it, or with the knowledge that you don't have the complete answer, you can post anyway, and will not have the opportunity to get a confirm.
