Well,@tphillips may not know "The Rules" you all speak about because there is no such a rule in the "Support and Help" section. What we see is:

" If they only want to know the name, then we accept only with the name. If OP wants to find the video, then only accept with a video URL. But we always recommend to add the name and video regardless of what the question is."

Nothing about required proof. Recommended - yes, but nothing that states what exactly is required.

And the new unwritten rules are still broken on daily basis anyway.

@NinNin - You are a great researcher. With respect, I must disagree on this point. There are too many questionable answers on this site that seem to run away with Correct marks with no proof.

Look at this one example:
Auto.msg.: ntp.so/ - dead link If you look at * Name Redacted *, you will see it looks obvious that this is the right answer, since there are dozens of instances of this picture listed marked CORRECT. However, if you look at all of these (I have looked at all 36). NONE of them show any proof. Not even one. They all only point to other of the 36 posts that are marked correct with no proof and there are even several posts within many of these threads that give proof that it is NOT Annabelle Lee.

This is an extreme example, but it is too frequent. I believe it was you who pointed me to the thread

I just don't think just a name, or even a name and link to another post is good enough. If anything, at least copy the proof from the other post if they give it. Give credit if you feel like you are poaching.

I guess this thread is not really the place for this discussion.

@tphillips I appreciate that you are familiar with the "rules", and@KeyMasterOfGozer I agree with you for the most part. Ideally every answer should be supported with a confirm link; however, if you click on the name of this particular actress--[Nathalie Emmanuel]--you will clearly see that OP's question has been answered many times before. In cases such as this, further proof may not be deemed necessary.

A support for webm format would be awesome, better than gif, since it have smaller size and load faster

@y2kiezze -@tphillips is right. The rules have changed. Sufficient proof is now required. Keep in mind that if you confirm a wrong answer, you are now penalized, so I wouldn't confirm anything without it showing some proof that it is right. I'm never going to Confirm something with just a name written down.

Also keep in mind, the Rules have always been to Confirm the BEST answer, not the FIRST answer.

I would probably confirm the earlier answer if it had all the needed info, but if the goal here is to build a good database of correct info, then you have to use some common sense. The person who just puts down a name didn't put forward any time to research it, so you can never be sure if they are correct, and it certainly doesn't give you complete info that can be searched later. If someone else comes along later and is willing to do the research to prove that this is a correct info, then they should be rewarded for putting in the effort.

Though I would also say that in this case,@FluffyUnicorn also didn't give any proof. I believe that info is correct, but I haven't seen that show, so I would give a link to IMDB, or some other source point to where this actual GIF comes from.

@tphillips The correct answer was given to the person who answered the question first and with tags. You didn't state that you wanted any further information. Therefore it's only fair that it was marked the way it was.

@y2kiezze I dont know how users confirm. If the threads are not working to get confirms, then maybe the problem is in the answers. In regards to accepting answers, we are constantly leveraging between keeping this site up, developing it further and finding ways everybody are happy. So sit tight and wait, the mark as correct trains are gonna come.

@sgnl07 it is turned off and will be overhauled in near future due to the final stages of performance upgrades.

Is there anything we can do if answers are left unconfirmed? I've tried posting them in the threads to get confirms but they're always ignore. Some have been up for months.

is it just me or is the pornstar directory not loading?

@Asdddwswdss there should not be any changes in regards to ads setup. Are you loggedin while you have these problems?
I am not sure what you mean with gif new format. We just had to replace the embed content for loggedout users, due to some googles new policies. The new embed preview is in BETA, so bugs are expected. But it is better, then no preview at all.

EDIT: So, basically there was more pops for loggedin users. Which was some what a bug. We most probably will put it back to lower levels, maybe. But for now its again only for loggedout users.

There is no GIF previews. GIF-GIF previews, which are actually mp4 files are shown on frontpage. And the new embed boxes should be for loggedout users only and for some unsupported hosts like heavy-r. The picture previews there are only for pornhub and tube8 as of yet. And most probably for others sites too in the MG stack. But it can only be done, when host supports multiple thumbnails.

The ads on every touch are a new thing or a bug? Just curious

Also, on mobile I can't preview gifs (on the new format), not touching on them and then closing the options windows of Chrome nor opening the link (media should appear here).

Those new gifs/videos do not load on mobile Chrome?

@Operator there may be zero requirements to answer but answers that aren't in the correct format aren't given the option to be marked as correct.

@Drupe222 OP will accept whatever they want to accept. Moderators, will mark the best answer however. There are zero requirements to answer. These are merely guidelines to make the best answer possible.

The number of sites supported has gone up since the launch of the site. I don't even know what to say at this point. We have done this for quite some time and things are like they are for specific trial-tested-been-there-done-that reasons.

@Operator you need to open the format up. It was a good idea to standardize the syntax to make the site more searchable but there are now too many requirements. It's unnecessary and it's an unfriendly interface. Especially the limited number if sites that are supported for embedding. If a comment answers the question, links the pornstar's name, and links to the proper video it should be able to be eligible to be marked correct. Simple as that. People are going to stop participating because of the complications.

UPDATE

So the image search database was re-rendered after some patching. This means there are more available posts for image reverse search. While the database is cleaned, index keys re structured and even query re-written, it still is limited to 1 unique search per 20 seconds -- it is a slightly longer query then we would like it to be.

Now also you can search .gif extensions with ease, but .webp is missing a critical function, that we hope to fix in upcoming week. But in regards to local posts / files from NTP, you can use whatever URL from now on. So for example searching by SURL, post-url, image-file or mp4 file = the system will go into internal search mode and use the source file we have. For example:

So with even the video thumbnails reversible and more options where to take the basis for the search, we hope this will give you guys further tools find content.

Also fixed is some major javascript problems, that disabled some features for IE users and might have made slower browsers glitchy. NB! If you are using IE, please stop and get Chrome. NTP was never designed to be used by IE and will never be officially supported. You are going to have 2x faster experience with Chrome, for the simple fact that webp images are used and they load faster.

@Stevesjones123 Lower levels lack that ability. Just email us the link and we delete it.

@WorldsBestPorn This site stopped allowing duplicate sessions since last year. This way it is more secure. Otherwise we would get complaints, that why doesn't it log me out from my other computer, when I log in from this or that. Some like it one way and others the other way.

Does a small adult community needs a session manager and privacy policies panels like twitter or facebook? You do realise that there are not only teams, but teams of teams of teams of companies behind those sites?
