I have a feeling that 2/3 guys are talking about post-tags and 1/3 is talking about name-tags. From now on, we have to be careful with our terms. Name-tags and post-tags are easily mixed up.
And neither of them are going away. We can make them more easy to use, but being consistent on criticising a feature, wont make it go away.
Only 3 post-tags are required. Separated by comas and they have to be unique. Useless tags will be picked up and denied, they are at the moment: porn, girl, woman, female, male, naked, name, etc, for, and, idk, lol, off (more will be added)
This means, if you select your post type, write a title-question, describe your post with 3 tags and its submitted -- What is the problem?

I don't get the objections against tags. Is it really that hard to come up with 3 tags that describe your content? We'll put auto-complete there eventually and there will be a tags index page, so if you need "ideas" you can pick and choose from a list.
This is all about content filtration. Say you're a fan/specialist of a certain niche and would like to answer/browse only hentai, ebony, asian, camgirls etc etc posts. Now you can, without having to go through 1000's of posts that you're not interested in.

In response to@herkalurk post, I'm just putting this out there but I don't know if it will be a good solution to our problem. What if we make the high level members (ex. level 95+) able to mark answers as correct? Of course, only with the correct tags and confirm links. I believe that will help with OP not accepting answers as well as OP accepting answers without correct tags. The high level members can be something like "Member Answer Moderator".
However, let's say we do go with the solution above. There will be times when the OP doesn't like the answers accepted by the "Member Answer Moderator" or that the accepted answer is wrong on his post. He can decline the accepted answer providing an explanation and choose the answer that he prefers.
Again, this is just an idea. I'm not demanding this solution or anything.

@Operator I'll be honest I'm not a fan of the tags. I get why you want it, but for me it's annoying when I'm making a new post more than anything. Mostly cause I don't even know what to tag it with.

Yes, I saw that too. But yet, forcing users to select correct makes sort of more good then bad. This is isolated situation.
In theory we can set the level minimum higher on users, who need at least 1 confirm on a post. Currently its level 1's, who need their answers to be confirmed first, then they can select is as correct.
Having said that: If you see level 1 OP, then confirm the answers in his post, or he wont be able to mark it as correct.
Basically, we will firstly work on making the answering function more bitchy like submitter. So if there is no tags, it will start giving warnings and etc. Sort of guide the users trough the process. This as like submitter's moods, wont affect good users, who already follow a good standard on making answers.
If this doesn't work, we will start limiting user's ability to do stuff. For example, you are selecting corrects wrongful, we will remove that option from you.. also if you do stupid flags and waste our time, you wont be able to flag anymore and etc etc. This in theory could be used on any action.

@herkalurk How do we stop OP, who is asking the question to accept answers, that are helpful for him? OP's are not moderators. There is no way to control this.
@Operator if we're pushing to have everything tagged correctly, why are we allowing a user to accept untagged answers? Not to mention the answer chosen had no different information. I know I'm not the first to have a answer chosen over my own and it's very frustrating to comply with all of the tagging site rules and provide numerous links of proof only to have a poorly formatted answer get chosen.

This is from a VHS tape recorded in the year 2000, so pointing my phone at the screen and taking a pic is literally the only way I can create a post about it. If I had a higher quality way to do this, then I would have certainly done it.

Screenshots of videos and media in generally will be trashed from now on.
Its very lazy from the OP and most of the times, the content can be linked or downloaded. There is almost never a valid excuse for screenshots. They look ugly, are poor on quality and can't be analysed by image reverse tools.
Also threads can be started by users of level 4 and above.

@Operator I know that the site is going through some big changes and not perfect yet. However, I would like to thank you for your hard work in making this site better for the members in the community. I'm willingly to be patient and let you know of any bugs to better this site. @WorldsBestPorn It is exactly 3 as minimal. But it detects if they are unique. So if you add the same tag 3 times, it counts as 1. It shows error when less then 3, but info-non-error-message recommendation to add more then 5.
@BobyAnderson Email us with better details. Generally, I would stop uploading if it goes on for hours. Our servers are extremely fast and upload itself should never take above 60s. If you see it for hours, then the upload process failed without a message.
