@spacecake Unfortunately we can't automatically detect if the video is dead or not.

@brewster Bumping is allowed as long as it's not excessive/abused. And we do have a similar solution in the works that you described.

@spacecake A lot of those answers and confirms are very old. So it's assumed the links were working at the time they received the confirms. This shouldn't happen again though as most older answers that qualify for the auto_moderator have been worked through. NB! If there's no video link at all, like in your first example, please flag it as that's a partial answer.

Still, that's only a cheat for what could be better served by features.

Suggestion: Add a "bump" so that the notification doesn't show "new reply" but "someone bumped this post".

Suggestion: There should be more ways to review 'older' unsolved posts past the 20 minute window where most users would see them. For instance, my profile has thousands of points for someone in unresolved questions.
Perhaps a viewable directory/chart of users ranked by available points, or an option to also view unsolved posts ranked by points available, rather than just by newest.
This data all already exists so it's just a case of coding the viewing options?

@ballzem If you check a bit lower, there is Don's post about auto moderator. We figured some things out and accepts, based on good confirmers and answerers is a thing now.

So as you are a fairly good answerer and you answers were confirmed by good confirmers, then you got your pending answers, that matched our criteria -- accepted.

The notification system is bugged, and will be went over soon.. probably will be reset again then.

Correct count got disabled, due to DB changes. But we had to create a user's stats solution and basically that will come shortly.

Separating favorites into playlists is a good idea. But right now we do not have enough time for it, as higher priorities take up the space in time sadly.

There was a correct answers shown in the profile but it's gone. Is it coming back?

Also the pornstars and users directory are still empty. Are they coming anytime soon

Also, I made a suggestion a long time ago saying that there should be a way to categorize Favorites and Saved posts into playlists but didn't receive an answer.
Anyways, these are just suggestions and it would great if they were realized.

So, I've been away for like two or more weeks and I was at level 65 (or something) and when I logged in yesterday I found that I jumped to level 95 and I only have 14 notifications. I see that the notifications have been reset so the other question I have is how the heck did I jump 30 levels in two weeks? Is there a new way for accepting answers? had it become automatic or what? - I'm not complaining. In fact, I welcome it. Thank you.

@Anxiousexy notifications, due to being corrupt were reset. This means all notifications were deleted. If you are having problems, with finding some post or comment, contact us via email or me PM.

We are working of final fix on notifications, but for answers that need modding we are going to create a list for them. For answers that you were following solved, check following list.

This happened, because we found out a major glitch, that was causing the empty notifications. Since we moderated around 500 000 posts, where 15 000 were accepted, it caused a large amount of faulty data.

What happens when a user makes about 7 posts with the same question? Took me a while to figure i was answering to the same person. He made a lot of copies of a lot of questions. One of those year long lvl 2 members, gotta love them

UPDATE
There is related posts block now before "Other unsolved questions". It only shows if there are tags on the current post and also posts, that are related to show. Tests show, that it can be very relevant, if the tags are good. Of course bad tags show all sort of crap there. Please have good post tags always :)

Also we added automatic tags from video hosts to 90 000 videos in NTP. Some tags are horrible, but most of them are usable and help with searching and related.

And all notifications were reset, due to alot of issues. Lets hope some of those issues were fixed now.

@Asdddwswdss If its uploaded directly, then there is no source. We planned a download button, but its low priority. You can try to replace the .mp4 with .gif for the source URL of the main media.

We will most probably reset all notifications, because we ran a bigger batch of automod.

On Android phone.

There are posts without the "Source" button. Is this because now we can upload directly from this site? It was useful when a gif (video) doesn't showed correctly.

Also, with the new auto_moderator I'm having 30+ notification of posts answered, but I can only see 10 of those 30+ (and after opening those 10, the remaining just disappear)

BUG FIXES
- Low level OP's couldn't accept answers, even with confirms due to backend being with old code. While OP's could see the button, the backend didn't let the action go trough. This is fixed now and hopefully new OP's can accept, when the answer has confirm on it. Please confirm on posts, where OP is low level :)
- Submitter didn't allow .JPG format, while lowercase was accepted. This is fixed now.

So the biggest update we made is obviously the auto_moderator.

It's essentially a form of systematical AI. It will learn which users usually give good answers and confirms that lead to correct answers and matches them together through an algorithm. The more information it collects, the better and more accurate it will get.

Give good answers/confirms consistently and the auto_moderator will reward you with correct answers.

If you give answers that will get declined by moderators your rating in the eyes of the auto_moderator will take a hit. If this happens once every now and then. It will not be problem. If it happens more often it will get difficult for you to get your answers marked correct by the auto_moderator.

So to get the full benefit from this update, make sure the answers you give are complete and consider adding a confirm link, even if the answer seems obvious to you. And the same should apply to the answers you confirm.

With this said, the auto_moderator will not work when there isn't enough confirms to go around. So the confirm thread will become even more valuable. Especially for lower level users. So help out the community and confirm correct answers.

NB! If you spot a mistake made by auto_moderator, please flag it with AM_ERROR. Weeding out wrong answers is just as important for the algorithm as finding good answers.

UPDATES
- Other unsolved is shown now based on the post's nature, not your current filter settings. Meaning, if you go to TS post, you will see only other unsolved TS posts. Same for straight and gay.
- There is also nature specific label for other unsolves.
- New posts and some older ones, will display who accepted the answer: admin, moderator, OP or auto_moderator. To dispute, you need to flag the post or tag an admin. @OP @auto_moderator @moderator does nothing.
- One reason, that notifications were bugged, was found and fixed.
- Gay and TS content have also label in the page title
- Gay is open now for business as well.
- There are changes in the confirm system, which means that you should REALLY REALLY ONLY confirm good answers. If the video dies with age, that is completely fine, but formats and answer itself has to be correct.
- We detected a bug in the negative points to confirmers, who confirmed wrongfully. Its fixed and you can get negative points again :)
- There is a new decline reason: Wrong answer. That means can mean -25 points to confirmers. Dont confirm wrong answers.
- Hidden user won't get events about their solved answers anymore. Meaning, you answer in "Incognito mode" you wont get points for it, but also your privacy is not compromised.
- Last but not least, we managed to boost the sites performance a little bit :)

It works based on user confirms. So even though the answer you provided is better, the other answer was confirmed by 2 users who have proven to provide good confirms.

Now that I changed it, it will affect the confirm rating of those users.

So it's absolutely critical that everyone confirms only answers that should be marked as correct.

Does auto_moderator accept answers as long as the name is tagged and don't require confirm links? An example below showed that the auto-moderator accepted an answer with just a name and no confirm links. Whereas, my answer had both the name and confirm links. I'm just wondering. Thanks.
