Ok, so for the greater good, don't allow acceptance of answer without tagging. I don't care if it's OP, don't even enable the accept button if the answer doesn't have tagging. You know as well as I do, this isn't a random individual case, numerous answers have been accepted without any tagging in the answer.

@herkalurk We cannot look at some random individual cases. We look at things with mass and in greater good.

@barelylegalfan correct. 1 valuable confirm vs. 3 less valuable. If the confirm is wrong, then it will be flagged and taken care of, next time that confirm will need more.

So Auto-Mod's self learning is to mark posts as Correct with ONLY ONE Confirm (whether it's correct or not) but leave posts with 3+ Confirms unfinished for months because possibly those exact Confirmers made a mistake in the past? Seems like terrible programming tbh.

@barelylegalfan Auto moderator is an AI program, that self-learns what is correct and what is not.

Auto mod doesn't make mistakes. Confirmers make mistakes. And when does mistakes are captured, auto mod will be more sceptical in the future for that specific confirmer.

I have a question about the Auto-Mod. Why is it that some Posts get the "Auro-Mod Correct" with only a SINGLE Confirm, and many of those turn out to be wrong. Then, as evidenced by the 2 Posts I just linked to the Please Confirm Thread, Auto-Mod hasn't changed them to Correct with 3+ Confirms. One of those was 2 months ago, the other A YEAR ago.

@Don Another reason to stop low level OP from accepting anything, guy just took his own answer when another use had an answer waiting with confirms....

@Don in regards to that, where did the -1 button go?

I don't know if this is the right place to ask my question. If not please apologize.
But i was wondering is there some kind of list on what level what (for lack of a better word) "skills" are unlocked?

@herkalurk OP was only able to accept that answer because it was confirmed by another member. We do have restrictions in place for what can be accepted by low level OP's.

+ This particular answer could've slipped through anyway had you not caught it, as it seemed like a good answer on first look.

What is missing here, is the ability for users like yourself to vote the answer as wrong/partial - which would've prevented it being accepting by OP or passing auto_mod. And that's something we are working on.

I provided clear proof that the person proposed wasn't correct, guy just accepted anyway.

@Yoni we have artificial systems for such things. But sometimes these things just happen. It should be cleared now.

@Yoni that's a lot of reporting...., I just got back and it goes on for the first 25 pages, and i think the person(s) still posting.

I'm glad I thought to come to this Thread and check because I was getting tired of reporting so many spammers. Now I realize someone, @Yoni, already did the good work!

Not sure if this is the correct way to address this, but why are others who answer a question with less details have their posts marked as Correct ?

I'm sure others have spent time grabbing details and links to give an informative answer, then only for their answer to be skipped passed and ignored.

This is very frustrating, annoying and the rest.

@salieri6 That's a great suggestion and something we have considered ourselves as well.

So 99% this will be done in the future. Most likely after user voting for "bad" quality answers is completed.

Looks like auto_moderator cant solving answers in short time. There are +1100 comments in the confirm thread and it is thickening every moment.

Like this situation (I cant getting points nearly 1 month until yesterday. I have +80 bounty answers waiting to be marked as correct.) discourages members like me about finding answers for new posts.

The problem is members dont confirm answers. For +10 points.. Who can blame them ?.

Answering bounty questions gets more points but why correcting bountys still gives +10 point ??

I have solution about it with this new formula.

+10 to confirm + %5 or %7 bounty value = When accepted you get the point for confirm.

For 500 point question 10 + 500x0.05 = 35 point.

Thus members will be eager and problem will be solved if you bring us kind an arrangement.
