Yes, Dr_PreX, I just noticed my little blue circle's number just changed from "!" to "11" with an updated score number alongside... how did THAT happen?

(Although when I revisited the WarPig Has Left The Building page mentioned below, in order to see if the change has taken place in all of my posts - nope! There, currently, the little blue circle is still at number "One." EDIT: In fact, after putting up this post, my I.D. information at the bottom of this post is at Number "One" as well. )

Yours still remains the same, as you wrote. I think the reason is, if your little blue circle is updated, there won't be enough room on the page for all the numbers that will follow.

I don't remember doing anything to accept an answer, to earn that two points. (I always make sure to thank my answerer once I become aware of the response, unlike the vast majority of our beloved questioners... but I don't think that's what would trigger an acceptance.)

One of our gallant answerers (let us pray Warpig will be re-entering the building one day) was beaming - and rightly so - that he had "reached Level 11 in under a month".

The number in the blue circle reads eleven (because he is at Level 11, like he said... makes sense), with 7,157 points.

You may see another of our wonderful heavyweights, PornoExpertGuy had written a nice note on the above page. Here is how his I.D. info looks currently, from that page:

Level 10, at 5,714 points, which reads the same as PornoExpertGuy's last post, to date. (I checked, in case numbers from past posts are frozen from the time they are written on the older pages, for no explicable reason.)

Before NTP changed the "Top 10" list from "All Time" to "This Month" (see bar at left-hand side of each page), I remember PornoExpertGuy was over 9,000 points.

So the mystery is: Why does the number not accurately reflect the points amassed?

On that very page, I had opened my mouth too, wishing Warpig well. You can see my I.D. notice from that page, as it appears currently:

I don't know how it happened, because I sure wasn't trying to "score"... but I got one of those adorable messages recently that I had stepped up to Level 11, and at this time I have over 7,000 points. (I can't beam like Warpig, because my profile page tells us I've been a member for three long months.)

So why does my little blue dot show the number One, followed by 64 points?

Many of you must have taken notice of Dr_PreX... the unstoppable porno-problem-solver. Before the "Top 10" rule changed, I noticed the good doctor had amassed over 20,000 points, and he has only been a member (at the time of this writing) for only around three weeks!!

My main question then, is what do the numbers for the I.D. information signify. You would think the blue circle with the white number would stand for the level a member has attained, and the number following would stand for the total points earned... but maybe they mean something else. Or maybe there is a bug in the NTP system.

The way one can see the total for a member is to look at what's called the "Experience Points," on the member's profile page. For example, here is the profile page for Dr_PreX:

The total is around 23,000 points, at the time of this writing, and next week the number will surely jump to 600,000 points. Dr_PreX is a gentleman (as is easy to tell from the times he has spoken up), and is truly in a league of his own.
