The OP needs to be able to confirm. If they're new. I think somebody else has to confirm first before they can mark it correct. A lot of new users hit & run i.e. once they get their answer they disappear. For older answers, a lot of the OPs are long gone.

The best way to get confirms is to submit your answers to the Confirm Thread.

I'm not sure how this site works. I have answered a few posts with the correct responses and they never get "solved". In some cases, I have provided a lot more info than necessary because I wanted to be diligent.

Is it just a misanthropy thing, where the OP won't click solved just to mess with whoever provides an answer?

@ZiienruEnjoyer

Save the pic to you phone or PC then upload it to on of the sites above.

I have a similar questions on posting videos. I've been posting them on Redgifs and using that video's url to post, but the thumbnail isn't populating. I see a blank image. Is there a better site to use or something I'm not getting as to why this is happening?
#2294318
@assdreemurr69 I don't know about videos. But for images you can use postimg.cc

@michig

I don't know about saint for images. Imgur won't accept porn anymore. Try using the ones at the top of this thread.

@assdreemurr69

If I understand your question, most popular porn hosting sites will work.

Okay, thank you very much for the tip, I will try now. Bye.

No, I didn't actually know the process for deleting an account as I don't think there's any available info on it.
This, despite the fact I've deleted two accounts in the past (they weren't working properly).
I do remember contacting the email address I directed you to, but I didn't get a reply.

You'd be better off posting on the staff thread rather than this one.
Have you tried this yet:
For account related issues, please contact us via:
https://account.namethatporn.com/contact
There's something there about deleting your account.

First of all, thank you for your response. Of course, I tried to remove the account from the settings page. But as you surely know, then NTP has to send you an email where you have to click a link to confirm the deletion. I thought I was clear enough.

@86samaped
Look at the Contact section at the bottom of FAQ.
I think it's unlikely you'll get a reply.

At the risk of appearing a complete idiot, I take it you are aware that you can delete your account from the Settings page?

Good morning. This is already the third time I’ve asked to have my account removed, but I still haven’t received the confirmation email from NTP. Could you let me know if there’s an email address where I can send my request directly and/or explain the issue? Thank you. 86samaped

Good evening, lads.
Sorry, I’m new here, so I’m trying to add video through url (since I can’t upload it directly due to low level.
But there is an error
“URL Content-Type Text/html is not allowed.“
I tried to use saint and imgur as a source.
Any ideas?

Cool. Thanks for the detailed explanation.

@Owlfan12000 Sorry, I thought I explained this...

If you follow this post:
someone the full video ?

...and then go into your list of followed posts, you will see the thumbnail of the original video, which is that picture of the girl in pink on a white couch with a bright pink background; i.e. this:
#2293178 image

That's how you can get the thumbnail from the OP even though the link is dead. With that- and often times the description in the original link- you can search to get an answer. E.g. for that post, the OP link has this in it (without the spaces):

http:// www.xvideos.com/video4934599/ nasty_chubby_brunette_stripping

I would not confirm the answer you just made up because the actual thumbnail from the OP is different. You can see that just by looking at the small thumbnail. If I follow the post and then go into my list of Followed posts, I can see more clearly that the thumbnails are different:

Here is my point. Would you confirm this one?

Where can I find this video?

You shouldn't. I just created it. I have no idea what the original poster was looking for. I went and found a valuable old post with dead links and added the same information that@kanella had in this post.

someone the full video ?

@tramplecbt you confirmed the prior post. Is there some way you can tell the post I just made is a fraud

I'm not trying to cast stones, I just using this to make a point.

@harold

How do I know that the original poster was looking for this picture?

#2293144 image

For all I know the original poster was looking for a picture of a Disney movie.

@harold and@Owlfan12000

Some people enjoy the challenge of trying to solve the older post just from a thumbnail pic. I've solved a few that way...

Just format your answer like:

OP thumbnail
Pic link

your answer

A LOT of those post weren't unsolvable, they were just posted at the wrong time of day and got buried by other questions. There's no need to delete them. You can use the main menu and search open only and it will give you the most recent unsolved questions if you don't want to be bothered by older post.....

Edit: if the questioner created an account and has a username you can check their followed post and sometimes get a better (higher res, less cropping) thumbnail, just a tip if you're interested in trying them
#2292984
@kronossss free porn links hardly ever last, the source was valid when it was confirmed. If you want a fresh link you post a new question. It will not be updated in "wrong answer" because the answer was deemed correct at the time of answer. We assume the link worked four year ago. If there was incorrect name that could be challenged, but a dead link, not so much. As I said, if you're interested in the content, just create a new question about it.
