I deleted my old account because I messed up by using that nickname in other parts of the internet. I want to make sure that when I search for my old nickname, I don't get any results related to NTP. Is this the right thing to do? As far as I understand, support is rarely able to help with changing nicknames. Does anyone have any advice on how to avoid seeing the NTP nickname in Google searches?
Is there a set level at which point someone's confirms start saving/counting? I've tried clicking on the confirm button for several people's answers, but it never saves.

You can't edit or delete a post until level 4. You did the right thing by reposting.

I don't know what they mean by approved sites.
If you are linking to a video or an existing image most widely used porn host sites will work.
If you are uploading a pic, look at the top of this thread and use one of the two listed there. There are others but they have to accept porn.

The upload wizard says help has a list of approved embed sites but it has no such thing...

I thought I'd mention this in passing.
In the past I've sometimes confirmed the wrong answer.
A couple of times I confirmed answers that weren't formatted correctly, another time I confirmed an answer that was only partial.
If you ever do this, you can remove your confirm.
Go to the Confirm button (If you've just confirmed you need to refresh the post), click Confirm again & your confirm will be removed.
In the past I've sometimes confirmed the wrong answer.

sorry, I just saw the two image hosts mentioned in the above description. they dont allow video files, so I guess I wll see if I can think of another way.
hi everyone, I am new. I am trying to make my first post. my sources are primarily mp4/m4s type files from redgifs that I downloaded. when I try to post, it tells I can't upload my own files, so I'm trying to upload them to some webhosts before I share but I can't find what the supported websites are. when I try to use my preferred image host (catbox.moe) I get generic error:

Note that you can't edit your own posts until level 4 so you will have to copy and paste your old answer, fix the tags and the then post the new answer.
You have had 2 of them solved by the OP (Original Poster). Those don't need tags to get solved if the OP is high enough level. The theory being, if the OP is happy, no one cares.
Those post probably would not have been solved in the normal method.
Other than the tags your answers have been good.

@EphraimGadsby Thank you so much for all this information. I understand what you saying. Funny thing one person I gave him two correct answer. The first one was at a question posted yesterday he gave me the points. The second one was at a question 8 years ago old. He didn't gave me the accept. The answer is right with pictures name in brackets link of the movie 100% right answer. Now you are telling me if one person accept the answer it is possible to receive the points? It's more than 2000 points.

This is by far the easiest way to get an answer accepted, unfortunately, it doesn't work very well.
If the OP is a low level user somebody else has to confirm the answer first before they can mark it correct.
A lot of new users hit & run i.e. once they get their answer they disappear.
For older answers, a lot of the OPs are long gone.
The auto_moderator is, as far as I know, a computerised system that uses a set of parameters to mark an answer as solved.
Two of these parameters are
1. The reputation of the answerer. I think this means that the more questions you answer correctly the higher your reputation.
Your reputation will be damaged if you answer incorrectly, don't give the answer the OP is looking for & give partial answers, etc.
2. The reputation of those who have confirmed your answer.
High level users who have a good confirm ratio i.e. they don't make lots of mistakes when confirming.
There are a lot of people who confirm without bothering to check whether an answer is full & correct, this leads to errors.
If your reputation is good enough as an answerer, I believe the auto_moderator, in some cases, will mark your answer as solved with just one confirm, assuming the confirmer also has a great reputation.
To get your answers confirmed make sure you submit them to the Confirm Thread.
If they haven't been confirmed in 5 or 6 days make sure you keep resubmitting them.
If you confirm others answers, it increases the chance that they'll confirm yours.
Just remember, don't confirm just anything.

Hello! I'm new here. I don't understand very well how the accepting an answer works. I saw that at some solved question appears OP at some auto_moderator. Can some one tell me what does it means OP or auto_moderator. What is the difference? Which is better? Sorry for my english. Not my first language. Thanks!
