Because 99% of posters don't accept answers which then means they get added to an approval queue to be approved by mods. That's a manual process that gets done in batches when the mods have time. It's becoming quite infrequent of late. You could wait a month or more for answers to be accepted. When your answers are finally accepted they tend to be in big batches so all of your answers may be approved at the same time.

Getting confirms supposedly will bump up an answer for approval and adds to the legitimacy of answers making it more likely to be approved .

Good luck and thanks for contributing. It's a frustration we all live with.

I've answered a lot of questions for the last live five days with tons of confirmations but it never gets solved. Also answered some bounty worth lots of points and they get confirmed but it doesn't get "ANSWERED". Why is that?

I asked for the full video, and he posted a link to pics, a link to a paid site, a 2 min streaming video, and a link to a torrent that I don't even have access to, and yet a mod marked that as correct. What's the point of giving high ranking users the ability to accept answers if mods are going to accept insufficient answers anyway?

I think it's a glitch, because it has been happening a lot to me lately. An OP was as asking for pornstar names and the video name, so not only did I give him both, but I added the full video as well, and yet it was still marked "partial".

How is my answer partial? OP asked for a video, not a name. I know it is POSSIBLE to give better answer but I don't think that my answer is "partial" in any way. What is happening to this website?

I got a notification saying that I accepted an answer 5 hours ago, when I wasn't even online 5 hours ago. So when I went to the post, the answer that was accepted was my own comment that was simply giving more info about the video that I was looking for:

As you can see, the post was asking for the full scene, and I merely posted the 30 second trailer in the comments so it would help people find the full scene, so why would a mod interfere and accept a 30 second trailer as a legit answer to a post that was asking for the full scene? Especially when I have to ability to accept answers on my own, and do not need any help from the mods on this? This post needs to remarked as open, because it is not answered.

You need to put the ad on an image hosting service like Imgur or Imgfap. Once you do that, paste the direct link for the image (ie. ends in jpg, gif, png) in the box at the top of any NTP page.

@Operator Are you aware there is an issue with upvoting and downvoting in that votes cannot be undone?

I posted something recently that got taken down and I understand why. Can I get in trouble for it other than it being removed? I won't do it again.
