@Anon_b2BHOO2WQeyEM we are trying out moderation on some level, it is too early to talk about this. I can see from the logs you have been moderated as well. So this is what everybody wanted, including you, why are you complaining about it?

For the others, because there is unhelpful confirm event now, then we can collect data on users confirm rates. This could possibly mean, that answers with multiple confirms from high rate users can output an accept. Of course this is just an idea as of yet, but its very positive news, that we have this new option now.

@Operator Now I'm stating to agree that everyone isn't in the same boat when it comes to who gets points, as Anon_d9c.FFLwPMtPg suggested earlier. You just said a few days ago that "no one is being moderated at the moment", and yet I see users getting thousands of points awarded to them from anon's just like in the old days of moderation. How is that possible without moderation? How is it fair that some select users can get awarded points from anons, but others cannot? How is that fair to the community? How are we "all in the same boat" if most users can only be awarded for a fraction of their answers, but others can be awarded for all of their answers? If this has something to do with the review pool, then why don't we all have access to it? Why launch a tool that only some users can even benefit from?

@NinNin Thanks for catching that. We upgraded into another cache system yesterday and there was one important syntax change, which was iffy if there will be any errors. So it is very very good, that you found that actually!

@Operator There seems to be a problem with the search function. When I search for a porn star, results will show, but when I click on any of them, nothing but an empty page shows.

@L1bru5 that is a good question. There are multiple ways. For an old answer to pop up in the review panel, lets say it needs some confirms. Or someone starts an action on it.

Here is a screenshot of the in-site "start an action" panel. It is the first initial one, so nothing is rock solid. And most probably, not all users can simply start these actions.
But general idea is, that based on specific levels users can start up actions. And then from review panel, other users can vote on those. So lets say Ninnin starts a vote on your 2 year old answer, and other users will vote yes. Confirming that they have verified the source of the answer and names and etc.

@Operator - I am meaning for the really old questions where OP is either not accepting, no longer visiting this site, or was an anon.

This new system is (or will be) in place for the community, how do go about getting these old ones accepted? is it a certain number of confirms? Like for example, 5 people confirm an answer... is it flagged or something? or automatically marked as correct...?

I have close to 450 pending answers so I was wondering what can I do? (if anything)

@bergersnfrys Yes you can in theory change username. But you need to contact us privately, not in a public forum.

Level 4 you can edit and delete your stuff.

@L1bru5 I don't understand the question. If the OP is level 1, then the answer needs 1 confirm. Otherwise there is no minimal requirement.

I mean in the bounty section not the scavenger, at which level are we able to edit a post ?

Block user function: we block a user who never answer back to confirm for each of his question so his questions never happen again to me on all the website, that way i can also prevent very old questions who got answered by the community with all the proof like the first one in scavenger hunt section and laying there for 3 years

Trust me, everyone is indeed in the same sinking boat when it comes to points. Some users just spend an ungodly amount of time on this site doing nothing but answering question after question, which is how they get at the top of the leaderboards every month. I myself just refuse to answer questions from users who I know for a fact don't except answers in a timely fashion, and I suggest that everyone follow suit. That's the only way more answers will be accepted.

I find it more and more difficult to believe that "everybody is in the same boat," when I've kept seeing the same exact users consistently on the top 10 list every month that I've been here. Now that tells me one of two things, either they're being favored for some dumbfuck reason or they've figured out a way to rig the system somehow in their favor. It must be nice getting all their answers accepted, but then I wouldn't know. I have hundreds of posts just sitting around waiting to get accepted and probably not even a quarter of them ever will be. So I ask myself what's the point. There's only so much time a guy can wait before he says fuck it.

@L1bru5 hello, that is the thread to request confirms from users. I don't know how often users confirm each other.

@Operator - is there a new thread where we post for confirms or still use the same one? I have about 6-7 pages of answers needing confirmations under my "following" page
