@rollerbelt77 , @ClonedMind – The reality is that, at the moment, It is currently impossible to delete an account. I've been trying for several days, but the confirmation email never arrives. And I believe the final part of the procedure clearly proves my point: "...Due to unprocessed confirms, pending answers, pending posts, having too high of a level or some other variable, you need to contact support to terminate your account. This is to protect important accounts from getting too falsely deleted." Now, how one is supposed to contact support and actually receive a response seems to be a mystery—even experienced users haven't been able to provide a definitive solution.
@rollerbelt77
We just need fresh eyes to do the research, if you and I can't find it, maybe someone else will. But if there's a chance it gets deleted, that removes the possibility of it ever being solved. Do you get that?

+Why would you be against an OP having control over their posted questions?
– Because if the OP deletes the post, the one following it can't find the image/gif/video to re-upload and post it again, so the deletion makes no sense at all.
+If other users have followed the thread, and they too have tried to find an answer but have no luck, this doesn't help either.
– Yes, it does. I've found info thanks to previous comments on posts.
+So why not delete posts that won't be solved?
– How can you know if it can't be solved? Just because you and i can't doesn't mean that it's imposible.
Makes no sense deleting old posts... they're getting solved all the time!

What’s the point of deleting a post?
Even if the OP lost interest, that doesn't mean it’s useless there's probably someone else following the thread, hoping for an answer. So the post should stay up.
The real question is: why does the OP want to delete it?
It's probably out of shame, or maybe they just don't care about it anymore. But let's be honest… it's mostly shame.
What could be done instead?
Just disable further notifications and anonymize the OP rename them to something like Anonymous User or Renounced Account.
After all, this is the internet... things don't just disappear that easily.

@EphraimGadsby - Okay, thanks again so much for your reply. Well, I’ll give this last attempt you suggested a try. But even if I don’t succeed in my goal, well, there’s really nothing wrong if my account and my responses stay online anyway! Bye.
@86samaped
Apologies, I thought you meant you tried just the settings option.
I'm therefore assuming you've tried both.
The only other option I'm aware of is
webmaster@namethatporn.com (it's at the bottom of the FAQ page)
but when I used that ages ago I never received a reply

@EphraimGadsby - Thanks for your response. But I want to point out that I’ve already clicked that link several times, then proceeded to Account Termination. After that, a screen appears saying I will receive an email to confirm my desire to delete the account. But I still haven’t received the email!
@86samaped
It's at the top of this thread
For account related issues, please contact us via:

If you click on it you'll see an account termination link, which will hopefully get your problem sorted.

I've been submitting requests for at least three days (in the designated section within the settings) to delete my account. However, I still haven't received any notification or the email in which I'm supposed to confirm (by clicking a link) my actual intention to delete the account. In case of issues, it's often suggested to contact "support." Can anyone tell me what this so-called support is and where to find it? Thank you.

Why isn't there an option for high ranking users to delete old posts? I have 8 year old posts that I no longer care about. I want them gone so I don't waste my time responding to notifications about them.

That would be a valid assumption. I would appreciate an explanation from the Mods on why comments aren't allowed on solved posts.
I assume the Mods have reasons for their choices. A just they would explain the reasons for things like this even if it's we're busy doing something else.
I'm really understanding of people making decisions if they communicate with the customers.
A paragraph a week or so on something would be good.

@Owlfan12000 - Ah, so I can assume that you can't comment either. Oh well, I'll arm myself with patience while I wait to reach that level. Because there are some things I'd like to comment on after the response, but I'm not allowed to. Okay, thank you very much for the answer. Bye !
Thanks in advance to anyone who replies. How many points or what level do you need to reach in order to comment on a resolved request?
@Owlfan12000
It doesn't appear obvious, but for actresses & non-porn stars use the Inappropriate button.
That's what I use & I've had no problems.
Flag a couple of the Emily Ratajowski solved posts the same as above, then see if the Mods take any action. If they do decide she's not right for the site, they may take the lot down.

What category is appropriate? My choices-
Needs to be removed This post violates the site rules, guidelines or policies.
Underage Underage content or looks suspiciously young and the age can't be verified.
Inappropriate This is something nasty or inappropriate and there for goes against the community guidelines
Revenge porn, solicitation or rape Content produced and posted without consent. (Includes GDP, GDT, WMGF etc)
Privacy or safety issue Threat to someone's privacy or safety. Either users of the site or adult models (Real goverment names or addresses being discussed)
Hateful content Flaming or other aggressive behaviour towards others.
Spam Only exists to promote another webiste, product or service.
Not English Not in english. Can't be understood by others.
None seem correct for an actress or non pornstars.
________
Then there is the question of how to address posts after the fact? There are 32 posts on Emily Ratajkowski. Since they have been solved, I can't comment on them to tell why they should deleted. (Assuming I even want to flag 32 posts).

If you see a post that breaks the rules, it's easier to flag it.
I've flagged a number recently & most have been disabled very quickly.

"We remove them when we come across them so don't waste your time."
Please excuse my frustration being expressed here.
I have personally made 8 posts in the Not Porn thread since you last deleted posts 2 months ago.
This one is particularly frustrating. Emily Ratajkowski has 33 posts. I identified this 2 months and noted her litigious nature.
I know several others have made multiple posts on there.
Mods need to do their part.
