Thanks for the reply. And yes, I do go through and check every one I confirm, I was just wondering if the "pros" had some more efficient process I was missing. And I agree that accuracy is important, otherwise what's the point of this site? :) Thanks again!

There's no easy way to verify an answer, except when you're familiar with the performer/video, etc.
The proper way is to go through & check the answer for yourself & that takes time.
Yes, loads of users go through verifying everything without bothering to check. It builds up points for you & of course, if you're submitting answers yourself, it makes it far more likely to get your answers solved.
The thing to remember, is that it's not a points scoring contest. When you get to a certain level, which you've already surpassed, that's it, there's nothing more.
The whole point of the site is help people get correct answers to their questions.

Question: I'm trying to help with confirms in the "Please Confirm" threads and just wanted to know if there is any kind of easy way to verify posts, like some process I'm missing, or is it just go through one by one, click the links to verify, etc. That's probably the only way, but what the hell, I thought I'd ask.
@86samaped I guess I skimmed what you wrote. Fair point. But I confirm a lot, I rarely pay attention to whether OPs are in the habit of accepting answers, and to me it speaks to a user's integrity if don't confirm the first correct answer.
@NinNin
Relax, my dear red badge, I know perfectly well how the auto‑moderator works. But you clearly haven’t read what I wrote. Let me recap: since the OP is the kind of person who validates his own requests, the auto‑moderator’s function would have been superfluous anyway. And in fact, that’s exactly what happened: the OP validated the first reply (correct and complete). But if you responded just for the sake of arguing, then I understand the point of your reply.

Japanese titles are registered with a code of letters and numbers. It means Japanese Adult Video. In NTP this can replace the title. When the title is very long or not in English. And to remind colleagues that in NTP we write and read only in English. It is easier to search and find in database or tube sites.

We can't change people, but we can change our attitude towards them. The solution is to answer a question that is 2 days old since it was posted. If you don't want to risk repeating what you saw 404 :-)

Posts don't just get confirmed.
They need to be confirmed by:
(a) the original poster
or
(b) by other users seeing your answer & confirming it.
(a) is by far the easiest to get points, but unless you're confirming very new questions your chances of the OP confirming are slim to nil.
(b) is a lot more complicated. Your answer needs to be seen & confirmed by other users. How many confirms you need depends on your status as an answerer (which is obviously very low at the moment) & the status of the people confirming.
If your status is high & the confirmers' status is high you can get a post solved with one confirm. In other cases you need six or seven confirms.
Even then, you almost certainly need to submit your answers to the Confirm Thread as mentioned by@LonelyCurious13
Make sure you read the instructions at the top of the Confirm Thread.
If your answer hasn't been confirmed in 5-6 days, resubmit, remembering to delete the original submit to try & keep the thread clean (some hope!)

Ok, I've Id multiple, some are the same girl being asked about by different people. Put in the pics, finally, got the brackets in, got the identifying info in. And yet I get quick answers to how I supposedly don't have it in the right format, but now that I supposedly do, it's taking forever to get credited. I'm not trying to write these girls bio's, but then shouldn't be this much work just to try and help someone out with identification.
Apparently an answer I confirmed a year ago was wrong and there is a correct answer posted. Can this be corrected?
