I've just tested adding an answer and modifying an answer and everything seems to be working, this might be a higher level account issue.

@wishy your answer is all well and good, but a bit of overkill if you ask me. If you don't mind spending all that time formatting answers then I encourage you to keep at it! Always better to have over answered than under answered.
According to the Help page, it all depends on what the OP is asking. If they ask for a name, you only need to provide a tagged name. If they ask for a video, you only need a tagged name and video link. Saying that, the "informal rules" that I think a lot of users follow is you should always provide a confirmation link meaning a trusted source like data18 or iafd regardless of what the OP asks for. That makes it easier for other users to quickly confirm your answer.
I always try to include tagged names, tagged movie titles, a confirmation link aka a valid source link, and a link to the full video. Now, there are times when I just can't find a full video so if the OP isn't asking for one, I link the longest clip I can find. Below is an example of how I answer, and I usually get my answer picked since it's easy for other users to read and confirm. Hope this helps!

@Reaper_3x You did exactly what all users should do – confirm answers so level 1 OPs have the option to accept them.
@Apex41 you have to link it to the specific Video and some answers don't accept download links so it's better to use video links
That is why I confirmed those answers so that he can accept them well I guess I should have given a heads up too my bad
@wishy You don't know what you're talking about.@Apex41 asked about the option to accept an answer. You can accept an answer at level 2 or at level 1 with a confirm. If you look at his activity log, he's already accepted answers.

Also my answered questions has been in confirm page for a long time (I've been reposting every day as a reminder, but) without point gaining could someone please give me the points & confirm the non confirmed one. If you want to confirm an answer, or you want to accept an answer on your own post, regardless, you need to be level 5.
