@Usernmetaken Yes. We are trying different setups to make it more accurate, but reindex takes time. Try in 30min.

@Operator Is something going on with the pornstar directory at the moment? Looks like a lot of answers that were showing under a particular pornstar are no longer showing, sometimes leaving no posts at all under a particular name. e.g. Cydella Jiminez had at least 10 answers previously, now only showing 2

@Operator using the pornstars: or tags: search only works for the first page of search results, for the second and subsequent pages the colon operator is missing or changed.

In the url for the first page the escape character %3A for : is used but when clicking the button for page 2 the A is lost and only carries %3 into the new URL. If the first letter of the word after the : begins A-F then this gets added to the %3 and converted into a new escape character, otherwise %3 gets left where the colon was in the search string. In both instances the search fails to function correctly from the second page onwards

UPDATE

You can search for pornstars and tags now. For example:
pornstars:puddems
tags:blowjob
and etc..

It will also try to figure out what you meant if you search pornstars:puddens and gets you puddems as result.

To strictly search posts in the future, just add posts:whatever. Right now the default is posts, but maybe something will be merged together.

@Anxiousexy So you can manually add an URL parameter at the end in the tags detail page and favorites and followings:

?status=unsolved and ?status=solved

For example:

https://namethatporn.com/user/Anxiousexy/favorites.html?status=solved (sadly only you can see it, but you get the point)

With specific post type its:

There is no room right now to add links / buttons. Most probably will do dropdown in the near future, unless the big update gets released before.

I'm with@Anxiousexy . Navigating our Following/Favorites is a headache. Ideally, they should be like the Confirm Thread with page numbers. But I like what I see so far!

@Anxiousexy they are planned in more bigger update. Specifically tag filtering. Right now we do not have the big system to support it, which will come with the bigger update.

However, the solved and unsolved filter. Maybe.

@Operator wouldn't be more helpful adding tag filters to fav/follow/pornstar pages? Or visualize only solved/unsolved in fav/follow pages? Or even a way to skip pages

Tags detail pages, pornstar detail pages, favorites and followings pages -- all have content filters now.

@Operator I thought the point of confirms was to let the community police a little. Mod picked bad answer after users pointed out the error.

Some additional thoughts.

Trusted links shouldn't be considered as the end all be all of confirm links. If the scene information is partial/wrong on a trusted link, it shouldn't be marked as correct.

So only add the trusted links, whenever they actually make sense. (Like a lot of you are doing anyway)

A lot of times information at sites like iafd or even indexxx is much more detailed and better for confirmations than on the official sites. In those cases the Trusted Link should only compliment the superior iafd confirm link.

But from a auto_mod perspective, when we analyzed the data we saw that whenever a link is posted directly to the scene at the official site (brazzers, realitykings, kink etc) it is almost always correct and if it's not, mistakes on that type of content will get found out more often that not. Because those questions are easier to prove/disprove.

That's why we think this is going to work. As it's not particularly easy to "cheat". If someone puts a random brazzers link on a non-related question people will notice that it's wrong (unless the content is extremely similar) and the user answering will get negative points to his answering/confirming score.

@herkalurk I see what you mean. We did want to keep it strictly publishers only at first. But since sites like adultempire, hotmovies etc have huge catalog and a lot of content is available there that isn't anywhere else, we felt like they needed to be in. We'll see how it goes though.

AdultEmpire can be contacted if there is any conflicts in the database. And link suggestions and etc. We just analysed the answers and if you answer to a Brazzers post that has a brazzers scene link in it, then the % of the answer being correct is higher.

There are of course other very complex algorithms in place to machine-learn, if your answers are good or not. I'm very glad to see the accept ratio of posts is rising and quality has not dropped in the big picture. Keep up the good work.

Data18 does well for newer web based sites, but not for actual dvds. If adultdvdempire has an ability for me to submit changes, I'd be glad to.

Below is an example. Adultdvdempire doesn't have anyone identified in the video, data18 has only 1 of the stars in each scene where IAFD has a more complete lsit.
