The correct way to format would be option B.

And you make a good point regarding the name without tags vs no name but just the link. We are in a transitional period and there are some confusing aspects to be ironed out.

In the future you will be getting points for each separate piece of information. So users will be able to add a name/title/video link to an existing answer without hijacking/stealing the whole answer.

At the moment, I'd advise always including the tagged performer name along with any other information. Even if it isn't requested by the OP.

As we award the most complete/best answer, instead of the answers that may have been posted earlier.

@NinNin @L1bru5 You're right but sometimes I leave certain information out because it's not quite clear on how to format it and I know I would be penalized if I do it the wrong way. For instance, name of videos.

If it's from Bangbus and the scene is called Petite Amateur Ass Fucked On The BangBus.

You see how it's confusing? And if the question is just "Where can I find this video?" and I post the link of the full video, post the name of the actor but post this part incorrectly, the mod will not mark this as correct and possibly have this answer stolen. Seen it happen a lot. Happened to me when I first joined the site. Which is why sometimes minimum is the way to go.

@masterpain I understand your confusion. I believe it's important to include as much information as possible when answering questions about videos--including titles, actors and production info, if possible--for indexing purposes and because videos are often deleted.

As I'm looking through older questions, I noticed there were open answered questions marked "Answer can’t be marked as correct due to missing name tags." because the person gives out the proper link to the full video but does not tag the name with SQUARE BRACKETS

For Example 1, is that the case of just giving too much information? If he would have stopped with just the link to the full video and left out the name, would that have been sufficient?

I understand why it was tagged with "Answer can’t be marked as correct due to missing name tags." but at the same time the question was Where can I find this video? So posting the actors names without SQUARE BRACKETS shouldn't matter because that wasn't the question.

I see a lot of questions not being closed because of minor things like "What's the name of this video?" To me the requirements for this question should only be the name of the video and where they can purchase the video. The full video link should just be a bonus and not a requirement.

So I guess you mean I can't see the confirm button because they're My Own posts? OK guess I was Confused, THX Buddy

There is, I just checked... everything is working as it should be. The reason why your answers haven't been marked recently is because our moderation has been backed up. But will return to normal schedule on Monday.

@Operator - No, I can confirm Everybody else, MY ANSWERS have no Confirm button At All, they "disappeared" from ALL of My posts. I couldn't understand how I got 53,000 points in beginning of last month, then BAM, everything came to a standstill about 2 weeks ago. All I get now is Thumbs Up because there's No confirm button. We actually had auto-confirming enabled at one point. With an automatic system that calculated the weight of the confirms by levels.

For example the total confirm weight had to be 100 levels for the answer to be marked correct, so either 2 confirms by level 50+ users or 20 confirms from level 5+ users. (And everything in between)

We had high hopes for that, but unfortunately it opened a whole can of worms, mainly spammers gaming the system, untagged/low quality answers getting marked as correct, people exchanging confirms without checking the validity of the answer and so on... So eventually we had to disable the feature.

We need to figure out a way to give that privilege to people with a proven track record of good confirms.

Moderation has been backed up for the past 2 weeks. Everything will be back to normal again from Monday.

We are also considering a solution giving trusted community members the ability to mark answers correct. But still need to figure out the details.

What exactly do you mean by "confirming button"? Are you having issues with confirming other users answers?

I have between 70-80 answered questions open right now. Atleast 60 of them already confirmed but still open. I don't think this is an active site anymore. I stopped answering questions because so far it's been a waste of time. Specially those older posts that I already solved for nothing.

I've been posting an answer or two every day for weeks but haven't gotten any correct answers. It seems like answer-marking has slowed way down.

I agree that "trusted" members could get answers accepted if there were enough confirms.

I also worry about the dozens of my posts that have multiple confirms, are months old and have yet to marked as correct. We all know that porn links tend not to last long.

I think a good idea would be if the mods allowed posts with four or five confirms from users at level 15 or 20 plus to be automatically marked as correct. It would save the mods a lot of time.

I have a bunch of posts that have been confirmed for weeks now but havent been marked as Correct yet. Alot of them have been getting deleted because they been up of over 2 years now. So did I just waste my time answering those old questions valued at 600 points+ ?

C'mon...PLEASE?... I have No Confirm Button all the way back to my first day (579 answers) Am I being blacked-balled, or what? I'm wondering if I should even keep wastin my time here...THX

Hey Guys, I just noticed my Confirm Button suddenly went totally MISSING from @ 100 answer posts for past 2 weeks, What's wrong? How do I fix? And I was on a Roll !... THX !.... PS also my notification flag was gone too, but that works now... maybe related?

You can't upload a photo to NTP. You need to use a photo hosting service like imgur, or imgfap. Upload it there and then link directly to the image itself (ie. a URL that ends in an image extension like jpg, png, or gif.)
