stealing points
i honestly will never understand how this site can tolerate people who post the same answer and even reward them for that. re-posting the same answer should not be rewarded with points. i didnt get points for roughly 30% of my answers, because a few hours, days or even months later, someone re-posted the same answer and got a confirmation, because people dont scroll down to look if the answer was already given. they simply assume that it has not been solved yet and just confirm the first answer they can find. no idea why this site doesnt sort the answers top (oldest) to bottom (newest). this would solve a lot of problems. but in its current state, the point system is totally useless. this site should reward us and motivate us to solve posts. but instead we get punished for being the first ones to post the correct answer. its better to simply wait for someone else to post the answer and re-post it a few days later. the lack of proper automation makes point stealing pretty easy. i also have no idea why we are even allowed to post the same name in the first place. why doesnt the site check if the name you are trying to submit was already posted? it could give us a notification that you cant post the same name and prompt us to confirm the answer instead. i find myself visiting this site less and less for obvious reasons. if things dont change, i will quit using this site for good.

1.) why did you not just add that you couldnt find a video? i also write comments where i can't find videos for helping people on future searches
2.) asked for a video therefore you should provide a video, thats what it is about
3.) check your sources before posting
I just wanted to adress your initial example on "stealing" points
"until this site gets better by a lot, i wont be helping out anymore."
why does it bother you then? come back in a few weeks or months and see if anything has changed. you made your point
I also think that users here are too lazy when they can't even look at the comments of a video where the desired info has already been posted or when it is literally written on the photo itself... but this site is about helping others and by doing this you get exp and lvl. there are things that could be done better (anonymus posting). but it is what it is at the moment

@flamebomb
you can perfectly select and right click a text and google search it with just one hand. i do it all the time >;)
@tellmewhodis
1. thread) because there is no known video that i know of. its pretty old stuff. i posted a name, so people can start digging and eventually find it. i didnt expect to get points for a "where can i find this video" question, without providing any info to the actual video. i just wanted to contribute to the cause. no one solved that post and no one got the points. so no idea why you even picked that one as an example.
2. thread) it contained the name of the studio, the name of the actress, the name of the video itself. i provided all required information to find that video. there is a gazillion sites where you can find that video, how should i know what site and video quality and format you prefer? you can stream it, you can torrent it, you can buy it. go figure. unless its some rare stuff, i dont see the point in putting everything on a silver plate for you.
3. thread) i linked to a reference thread. ohhhh the video links are dead? ohhhh noooooooo. you basically confirmed everything i complained about, so i rest my case. once a video link is dead, its dead. everything is lost. but writing down the name of the studio, the name of the actress, the name of the video itself, will stay forever.
the drama is, that this site lacks basic features and automation and that high lvl people abuse the shit out of it. why arent tags generated automatically? why cant the data18 or whatever link be generated automatically? why can we re-post the same name in the same thread? why arent the posts sorted top (oldest) to bottom (newest)? why cant the post get auto confirmed, if its a known picture and matches the name? the list could go on and on.
until this site gets better by a lot, i wont be helping out anymore. its as simple as that. i dont see the point in helping some lvl 50 user reach lvl 60 faster. even if i did serve you everything on a silver plate (write the name + the data18 link + a video source + the actresses blood type), a few days, weeks or months later, a high lvl user will come to that thread and spam the shit out of it with tons of tons of useless information and a bunch of links to the very same questions, just to artificially lengthen the whole topic. then he will beg for confirmation in the "request confirmation" thread and the first user that comes to visit that thread, wont bother scrolling all the way down to see if there was a previous answer already. he will just be happy to finish scrolling through the high lvl users spam and confirm that shit for good. in fact, a high lvl user doesnt even bother posting until a thread reaches a certain amount of points. you dont get rewarded for solving a post quickly. you get rewarded for bookmarking it and stealing the points after waiting a few weeks or months. are you honestly telling me that a site like this should encourage this? if it was the other way around and threads would actually lose points over time, boy oh boy would we have some quick answers on here. lmao

@xjunox wants me to do a bunch of googling with my hand on my dick >:(
I don't understand the drama here... Like@Operator said, your answer was just partial.
I had a quick look at your other posts and while most of the time you post the right answers there are some like that one you were arguing about:
OP asked for video, you posted the name
OP asked for video, you posted name of the pornstar and of the scene
OP asked for video, you posted the name and linked to an outdated answered question where the linked videos doesnt work anymore...
And you are asking how others "steal" points?
And btw adding some kind of source always helps confirming things.

OP
@wordbox i will post my links as following in the future: https://lmgtfy.com/?t=v&q=x-art+karina+white+love+to+love+you+porn :D
i can understand the need for video links of rare stuff, but not when the video is widely available. a little bit of effort from OP can be expected. people are too lazy to even right click a text. the majority doesnt even know that you can google search a freaking image. you can post a link to a short shitty 480p video clip and get points for that, while someone posts a link to the full 1080p video and doesnt get the points. quality doesnt even matter here, what matters is who posted last and that person gets all the glory, which is just insane.
@Operator free speech? really? lmao ok..... wait, if trolls and anons post the correct answer, then it is the full answer isnt it? btw im talking about a per thread restriction of re-posting names. user1 posts Jenna Jameson, then user2 cant re-post Jenna Jameson in that very same thread. why would that create any problems? that answer is either right and should be confirmed or its wrong. its not rocket science. he can still post jenna jameson, but without tags. so where is the problem? you can still post other aliases with tags and if anything, quality would increase, not drop. and as for the file sharing thing, in some countries if you post a link to copyright infringed material, you can get sued as well, wether you were the one who originally uploaded the video or not.

@xjunox if the OP asks to see the video. He is literally asks to see the video. If you don't provide some link so he could somehow see the video, then your answer will be partial.
There are tons of free sites and even official ones out there, I have no idea what this file sharing issue is.
Stopping someone for posting the same nametags is like taking free speech away. Its never going to happen. This would mean, that all anons and trolls will post the correct name and nobody can ever post the full answer anymore. Quality will drop and all answers become partial. Out of question.

@xjunox At the end of the day the person who answers the question gets the points, and you answer a "where can i find this video?" question with a link to that video

OP
@Someone_9999 no, i use tags, which get recognized as such and redirect to the proper thread. the new posts simply use the very same tags and steal my points.
@Operator a quote from the other thread: "i provided all the infos required to find the video. this is not a file sharing site. providing a video-link is a bonus, but not a requirement. re-posting the same answer should not be rewarded with points." links dont last forever and there is nothing worse than a dead link. so i dont know why you even encourage file sharing on this site. besides, the majority of the posts where my points got stolen, didnt contain any links at all. so there is that. fact is, that this sites point and confirmation system is totally useless and discourages everyone to properly contribute to this site in any way. once a thread has been marked as solved, then yes, i agree that the correct answer should be on top. but the posts as such should be sorted top (oldest) to bottom (newest). that and a restriction to re-post an already posted name, would make this site much more usable. as of bonus content like additional names and videos, you could add some sort of assist reward and automatically pin it underneath the correct answer. there is a billion ways of how to make this site better. dont get me wrong, im not trying to be a dick about all this and tell you guys how to run this site. all im saying is that this site is not fun anymore and im not the only one who is pissed about this huge flaw. so when more and more people start looking for alternatives, dont be surprised. oh and btw, as for my "partial answer" you said: "Your answer is partial. Question is about video, you answered with a name." which is not true, my answer was: "x-art Karina White love to love you". name of the studio, name of the actress, name of the video itself. all it was lacking was the link to a video. but as i pointed out earlier, im not too keen on file sharing, so i try to avoid posting links to videos if the source is widely available. and honestly, if someone lacks the basic knowledge of right clicking a text and google search it, then that person shouldnt be here in the first place. sorry.

Reason why we designed the newest to be first, was due to the fact posts are hybrid between threads and posts. It was all about giving the OP, the user who needs help with something the best odds. FYI: In moderation panel the possible answers are ordered by detected quality. So if the answer contains name-tags, data18 link and some video link -- there is a higher chance of getting accepted.
So, lets check some of your answers:
Question: Where can I find this video?
Your answer: x-art Karina White love to love you
Accept went to a user, with data18 and video link. The reason is very simple: Your answer is partial. Question is about video, you answered with a name. Also, the other user added a data18 link, which moderator or user can quickly check and confirm, that the answer is correct.
If you open the comment box it actually says: "Her name is (...) here is a confirm link: http://example.com/video/11344-some-video". Confirm links are important, because moderators job is hard and they have to manually search your names, why not add a confirmation link and make things easier for them?
So, while there is nothing I can do about this situation, I hope you got some pointers for future :)
