@whitewolf93 When you reach level 2 (around 50 points) you can upload the image directly here. Try to answer to 2 - 3 posts here for points (search for the OPs who usually confirm quick the correct answer to their questions for a faster points gain) .

ok that makes more sense now. its just confusing because it says "-1 confirmed incorrect answer", and there is no mention of it being a different type of points. so maybe you should add the text "accuracy score" to it. i would also prefer if you would show the accuracy score publicly. im more interested in seeing someones accuracy score, than how many millions of points they have.

@xjunox You misread what I said. Negative points DO NOT impact your total points, the ones you need to level up. If it worked as you describe, sure it would be too easy to play the odds and accumulate points by just confirming everything.

Negative points lessen the value of your confirms to others and the amount of confirms your answers need for auto-moderator to accept them. Call it a confirm accuracy score, a user value score, whatever. Your total points have nothing to do with it. A level 100 or 200 user could have a low accuracy score by confirming a lot of wrong answers. The penalty should be higher because of the abuse and the work it makes for mods to reopen answers.

Who wants to be the reason why the confirm thread is suspended again?

"A few -1’s won’t matter if you’re a good confirmer but if they pile up or you get a lot of -25's then your confirms will be worth less to others and you’ll need more confirms to get your answers accepted."

you can go to the confirm thread, and confirm every single answer without checking, and you will probably be right 95% of the time. so lets assume you get +10 points for a right answer, and -25 points for a wrong answer. out of 100 answers, that would be a total of +950 points for the right answers, and a total of -125 points for the wrong answers, which is nothing. even if you increased the penalty to -100 points, you would have still made a profit of +450 points. besides, do you seriously believe that a user with 100k points cares about losing a few hundred points? not to mention the high level users that have millions of points. if you truly want to penalize people for confirming wrong answers, then introduce a strike system. any form of point deduction is just a droplet of water in a desert.

When a question asks for a name amateur, unknown, uncredited, unidentified etc., etc., etc. is NOT acceptable. It never has been. It doesn't matter if it's confirmed or if it’s cited on IAFD or any database as unknown person ####.

If you can’t find a name just don't answer the question, get over the fact not every amateur or model can be identified. Why should users hunting for huge bounties be rewarded for rounding up a few links but not answering the question when probably dozens have done the same and passed on it?

It's the same people we warn over and over. They don't listen nor do the confirmers. Most know who they are. Here is an example.

what's her name?????

Getting -1's for confirming a partial or untagged answer doesn’t come from your total points. It comes off a different number that measures your confirm accuracy. A few -1’s won’t matter if you’re a good confirmer but if they pile up or you get a lot of -25's then your confirms will be worth less to others and you’ll need more confirms to get your answers accepted.

What should I do if I have found some confirmed answers are not tagged or formatted correctly?
#1490153
@dsar1508
- answer correct to other people questions (you get points when the OP or auto_moderator confirm your answer),
- confirm other people correct answer to your questions (you get points for each confirm),
- confirm other people correct answer to other people questions (option available after you reach level 5).

How people win points?
#1489772
@Arnstad
yes, but such behavior is to be expected from a faulty system. you get 10 points for confirming the right answer, and lose 1 point for confirming the wrong answer. so if you only care about points, its worth it to simply confirm every single post you see, because you will be right more often than wrong. even if they increased the penalty, it wouldnt stop people from blindly confirming answers without checking if they are correct.

so instead, they should introduce a strike system. for example, if you confirm a wrong answer, you get 1 strike, and are unable to confirm answers for a whole week. with 3 strikes you get a temporary ban, and with 5 strikes you get a permanent ban. 30 days without any incidents, should remove 1 strike. these are of course just example numbers, but you get the idea. i doubt anything will change though, because it feels like the admins and mods have completely abandoned this site. there are zero consequences for bad behavior, and trolls are having the time of their lives.

@xjunox You can thank@SexyEsu for that. That's the source of our both problems.

Yeibi originally wrote Dreianova, which was clearly the wrong answer. he edited his answer only after i pointed out that her name is Top1prostitue. he posted a google search link as "reference", and couldnt provide the video that OP asked for. so why the hell was this confirmed?
#1489262
It should be normally posted in the "Wrong answer" thread, but the problem is@SexyEsu who litterally confirms anything like it was a bot

why isnt teon57 banned yet? all he does is copy+paste other peoples answers, and bump threads. the lack of moderation on this site is really shocking. i reported a post for underage content months ago, yet nothing happened. i also reported a post for doxing months ago, yet again nothing happened. whats the point of having all these rules, that mods refuse to enforce?
