After trying literally 100s of times, suddenly I got an error message saying I was trying to post a banned link. That was the very first time I saw that error even though I hadn't edited my response at all.

I toyed around with my links until I discovered that a reddit link was the issue.

I think that sometimes the site's banned link message just fails to pop up and then it appears as though the post went through??? Either that, or there's something screwy with certain posts like that one.

Related question: Where can I find the banned links list?

This is an ongoing issue for this site. First make sure you're not posting a banned link like Chaturbate or linktr.ee. You can still post them if you separate the url.

Otherwise, the workaround is to first post a tagged name. Then edit the answer to include the rest of the information. Unfortunately, you must be at level 4 to edit posts. Until you are, I recommend posting no more than a couple of links at a time. It seems that this happens to me when I try to post an answer with a lot of links. Other than that, all I can recommend is copying your answer onto another document so you don't lose it when you refresh.

It would be nice to have a simple filter. When I am trying to browse tags, (for example #selfie) I get more than 100 pages of result. I would like to see only not answered

I've been having this extremely frustrating issue where only some of my comments and answers go through. I can't make heads or tails of it.

The answer/comment will post on the page like normal, but when I refresh, it disappears. It can take me many, many tries before it actually goes through, if it does at all! Some answers I can't get to go through no matter how many times I try, and I've been sniped before because of it.

Also, It's not the comment limit. If I hit the comments limit there will be a pop up message and the post won't be allowed in the first place.

This issue happens even when I haven't done anything in over 24 hours.

This happens on mobile or on desktop, VPN on or off.

I'm trying to become an active contributor but this site is making it so difficult D:

@USBeefstick Everyone can post the same links regardless of level. No one can post banned links such as linktr.ee and Chaturbate, although there are workarounds.

@MutantMayhem If you were trying to post a banned link, then you would encounter the issue you're describing.

@MutantMayhem Level 1 and 2 users are pretty restricted about the types of links they can post. The delay may also come from the site trying to examine the links you're trying to post. Take a look at the approved sites for proof links and try to stay within them until you level up.

A few months ago, in May 2023, I posted a question on NTP and quickly got an answer.
I clicked on the link (an URL shortener) but it just redirected a few times until I cam back on a JSON page from NTP itself.
After that, my account has been deactivated :(
This link was a hack, the answer has been deleted and reported on the "Staff thread"

My account was Fifpl

I created a second account Fifpl2 but can you reinstate Fifpl please ?
