@RB29 and the additional issue is, if you change the site name, a. Will your audience be able to find it without being notified?, and b. Even if they DO, if Chaturbate legally seized the name of the site then a bit more legal paperwork would argue that these sites are the same content, hence the same owner, therefore they own it as well.

I heard a rumor that these sites were given a pass by Chaturbate to save their content so they'd get half of the cam model's earnings as well as a healthy chunk of the profit from the archive site, which makes perfect sense bc I could never wrap my mind around how many recording devices would have to be enabled to record ALL popular cam models at a given time, 24/7, and some niche couples that most haven't heard of (outside of private collectors who do, at best 5 or 6 at a time IF they have no lives at all). But with these judgements, it seems that rumor was (at least partially) mistaken. It ostensibly hurts their bottom line to support those sites, but their content is being pilfered regardless, it's simply a matter of scale. There are still archive sites, for example, in Serbia that they've been going after legally for years with no results, so I don't see the world where you can see live cam models or have nothing.
And if worst actually comes to worst and all those sites are shut down, you'll still have private collectors who obsess over individual girls, like your Emily Grey boys, and they'll still have all her non-private scenes archived somewhere.
The more disturbing trend is how porn sites are stopping individuals from uploading and only allowing companies to upload. Suddenly it's only teaser scenes and heavily advertised scenes on some, with more following daily.

So they thought they'd sound all scary and impressive with the whole "UDRP process", but the linked WIPO document tells the story. My understanding is they used recurbate's close association by name against their CB's own trademark to seize the domain name. Naturally, recurbate didn't want to (or maybe legally couldn't) defend their right to the name, so CB was given control. What is noteworthy about this is that it's a naming dispute, not a content takedown which detracts a lot from their attempt to create a serious legal solution.
As such, "recurbate.me" is one among many others that have sprung up. As long as the servers and data are intact at the time of domain seizure, migrating to a new domain name is child's play for the host. They could potentially survive a lot longer if they stopped using the recurbate name altogether, but I guess they want to stick it to CB lol
