How many points does it take to reach level 5?

It may have something to do with the number of your correct answers. Something like: you can level up for more then one level at a time for one correct answer.

So How to Earn it?

For other people looking for this answer (because google brings you here), the points required to reach the first 5 levels were in my case:
- 50 points for level 2,
- 150 points for level 3,
- 600 points for level 4,
- 1100 points for level 5.
It may matter the number of questions you have correct accepted/confirmed answer (how active you are). I don't know if having an accepted/confirmed answer to just 1 question that has over 1100 points will take you directly to level 5.
