believe it or not, but I think Onlyfans has a lot to do with the porn industry simply not caring about stars anymore. These days women only do mainstream porn long enough to grow their online following, then they open up an OF and quit studio porn all together, so the studios have gotten used to getting all they can out of a performer and moving on to the next hot, young thing as quickly as possible

Let's add some context. The "industry" didn't get August Ames killed. It was being given an ungodly amount of hate on twitter and her being in a sensitive mental state at the time. It was about her not wanting to sleep with a bi guy who also did gay porn. It was about her bodily autonomy and people being fine with it until she didn't sleep with the person that they wanted her to.

As for Kagney Linn Karter, you can infer from the statements of those closest to her that she had a growing number of dark days, wherein she wasn't as bubbly as she used to be. Maybe it was depression. Maybe it was something much worst. It also sounds like she retired from porn and opened a dance studio.

I've heard of a porn star who shot herself in the head when she was given a terminal cancer report. I don't know that I see this too differently. A terminal illness or crippling depression can have similar outcomes. I'm not sure what this has to do with the porn industry, though.

Jesse Jane was drunk in public several times in the last few years, and her dying isn't a good thing by any stretch, but it's also not a surprise. It has nothing to do with porn. She hasn't been in porn in a decade.

You know who got victimized by porn? Veronica Rodriguez. There are real women who've suffered because of porn, they just didn't kill themselves.
