Did Pornhub REALLY Just Delete 90% of Their Content? WHY???

Yeah, which were 90% of the videos. lol I only had one uploaded and that was taken down.

That's a damn good question. lol Some ppl believe that if the person who uploads the video puts the performer's name in the title, or even if someone puts the name in the comments, then that increases the chance it will be taken down. I've seen no evidence of this tho, because there are plenty of old vids on SB with performer names all over it, and plenty of new vids with no names that get taken down fast. So I guess porn studios have some sort of video ID software that catches most, but not all of their content within 48hrs. If it doesn't catch it by then, it might never catch it.

@WorldsBestPorn ok thank you, I did not know that! Why do it get taken down early but stays on if surviving more than a week?

Ah, I see what you mean now. It's true that most newer vids on SB only seem to last about 48hrs, but as long as the OP accepts the answer within that time range, you should be good. Plus once a vid survives past a week there, it's likely there for good, so if there's one that has been there 2 years or so, it's not going anywhere soon.

@WorldsBestPorn I think Spankbang is very good and works great, but I mean as in the retention of videos. I would not use SpankBang as a go-to for answering "where is the video" questions and I would rather use Daftsex. Spankbang gets a lot of free videos but sometimes they get taken down whereas Daftsex is good at keeping them. That is just my opinion though. Also, Spankbang is annoying because the thumbnails do not work when asking questions.

Yeah, Daftsex, Spankbang, and Xvideos are definitely my top 3 go-to sites, but how isn't SB stable? I use it all the time and never had any issues.........besides my comments never showing up -_- lol

If I saw that they disabled the download in xhamster. But you can download the videos the same with the application. I used the same downloader for the videos from pornhub. I had many videos in favorites. I liked compilation videos, cumshot of actresses etc :(. I leave you the link of the app to download videos

@WorldsBestPorn I agree with @liebrarian . There are a ton of other free tube sites. Another decent site is sxyprn.com (not a typo) where you can download high quality videos. Plus, from what I can tell, it has a community where you can ask if anyone can upload specific videos from porn studios.

@WorldsBestPorn I think all the "big" sites even if they are noit owned by Mindgeek are taking note, but there is still going to be lots around. PH was good because it is stable but usually it removes most "big" free porn.

We still have Daftsex, Spankbang, etc. I am currently looking for a new "go-to" video-platform for my answers since Pornhub does not work well anymore and Spankbang is not very stable.

I was just on xHamster and they appear to have disabled video downloads just like PH did before they deleted most of their content. Any word on if they are following PH's lead? If so, getting porn free on the internet could be about to go extinct O_O

A company call MindGeek owns many of the major porn studios and tube sites including PornHub so, no, PornHub isn't going anywhere. Below is a little excerpt from their Wikipedia page just to give you an idea. There are a ton of other sites they own and operate.

They removed all of those videos, as pointed out by previous comments, to combat revenge, illegal, and unverified porn. Basically to cover their asses so they don't get sued/in trouble. They've been getting more and more pressure to combat these types of porn.
